Ways to add clips to a book

There are several ways to add clips to a book. You can add a clip from its preview page, from a clip card, or directly within the book editor.



Add a clip from the clip preview page

1. Open the clip you want to add to your book.
2. Click Add clip to book.
3. Select the book you want to add the clip to.
4. Select the section where you want to add the clip.
5. Click Add.

The clip will be added to the end of the selected section.



Add a clip from a clip card

You can also add a clip to a book directly from its card.

1. Find the clip you want to add.
2. Open the clip card’s More menu.
3. Select Add clip to book.
4. Select the book you want to add the clip to.
5. Select the section where you want to add the clip.
6. Click Add.

The clip will be added to the end of the selected section.



Add saved clips from the book editor

You can also add clips directly within the book editor while editing your book.

1. Open the book editor.
2. Go to the section where you want to add a clip.
3. Click Add saved clip underneath the last clip in the section.
4. Find the clip you want to add using one of the available tabs:
   • Favorites — Clips you’ve saved to your Favorites.
   • My clips — Clips you created.
   • Community — Public clips from the Recustom community.
5. Select the clip you want to add.
6. Add the clip to your book. The clip will be added to the end of the section.



Tip: Save clips to Favorites as you browse

If you’re browsing public content and find clips you might want to use in a book later, add them to your Favorites. This makes it easy to find them later without having to search for them again.

When you’re ready to add them to a book, click Add saved clip in the book editor and find them in the Favorites tab.

If you created the clips yourself, you can find them in the My clips tab. To find other public clips, use the Community tab.
