What is a Contributor page?
Any user with public content on the site has a contributor page. A contributor page displays all of the public content that an individual or organization has published on the site.
View a contributor page
To view a contributor’s page, click their name on a content card, or click their avatar group on a preview page.
You may want to visit a contributor’s page if you really like their content and want to discover other pieces they have published.
Curate your contributor page
Your contributor page includes the content you have published publicly. To curate your page, take note of which pieces of content you have set to Public.
Keep in mind that only public content that has been approved by a moderator will appear on your contributor page. Content with a Pending status will not appear.
If you would like to escalate a piece of content you have marked as public for moderator approval, please contact us.
If you have an organizational account, there is also a field to paste a URL.
Add a contributor description
You can add a description that appears at the top of your contributor page.
To add or edit your description:
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the navigation.
- Select Account.
- Enter your description in the Profile Description field.
- Click Save changes. Your description will now appear at the top of your contributor page.
If you have an organizational account, there is also a field to paste a URL.
View your own contributor page
You can view your own contributor page the same way you would view another contributor’s page: click your name/avatar group on a content card or preview page of once your pieces of content.
